Hard Surfacing

Currently, we, NamThanh Group, are collaborating with the Korean Company to provide repairing, recovery, and Hard Surfacing service for the abraded surfaces by welding with hard and abrasion-resistant Hi-Cr materials (Hard Surfacing), especially for the grinding tables and rollers of cement, thermal power, mining industries.

Product Description

Hard Surfacing Process:

  • Step 1: Clean the work surface of the roller tire and table liner. Clean all surfaces of roller tire and table liner.
  • Step 2: Check the surface of the roller tire and table liner to detect cracks. If there are cracks and sharp edges due to the worn-out areas, take care of those areas to create a relatively smooth surface before welding.
  • Step 3: Setting up the rollers and grinders. The welding control cabinets are reasonably arranged on the working platform in front of the mill door.
  • Step 4: Heat up all surfaces of roller tire and table liner to remove moisture on the surface of roller tire and table liner.
  • Step 5: In the welding of welding layers, cleaning of the surface before welding the next layer. Perform the cleaning of welding slag. Then clean up the slag.
  • Step 6: Checking the weld, ensures that the welds overlap steadily, if not we need to adjust the weld mode accordingly.
  • Step 7: Temperature control on roller tire and table liner is maintained. Maintain air cooling on the roller surface. If the roller temperature is too high, stop the welding, cool the roller tire and table liner before continue welding.
  • Step 8: In the course of welding, the circularity and uniformity of roller tire and table liner surfaces must be adjusted.
  • Step 9: After finishing the Hard Facing, the roller tire and table liner are cleaned and cooled naturally in the environment.
  • Step 10: Disassembly of equipment and machine cleaning.
  • Step 11: Acceptance before trial run.
  • Step 12: Hand-over test run and test track.
